The Cape Verde weever, Trachinus pellegrini, is a fish of the Trachinidae family, Perciformes order, and Actinopterygii class. Widespread in the Eastern Atlantic along the coasts of Senegal to Nigeria, including the Canary Islands and Cape Verde, also reported from Mauritania. Marine tropical demersal fish, up to 20 cm length.
